FRIMA s.a. is a beef and lamb processing company whose production systems utilize the most advanced technologies to insure high quality and optimum food safety. All of this designed to comply with the strictest regulations and specifications required by all national and international markets for the production and sale of perishable foods.
The plant is located in the natural cattle production area of Osorno, en the Lakes Region of Southern Chile. This area, where generous rains provide year round irrigation for the vast grass lands, assureing our continued capability of providing hige quality grass fed beef and lamb with exceptional health indicators for the market. Therefore, all of our livestock comes from know and trustworthy sources. Osorno and this Lakes Region of Southern Chils is widely recognized for its natural beauty provided by the permanant snows on the area´s volcanos that feed the crystal clear lakes which shine under the continuously changeing skys of the Chilean Pategonia.
Our primary objective is to produce and provide meat cuts and processed products of high quality and acording to the specifications and special requirements of our clients. The care and protection of this privileged environmental position our planet is also an integral part of our mission.

ProCarne, our primary registered trade mark for our higher quality beef products, was originally a development project managed by the Foundation Chile in 1983.
The original objective of ProCarne® was to promote a modernization of the beef industry in Chile. This development was based on the introduction into the Chilean industry the concepts of gradeing, vacuum packaged boxed beef, modern concepts of quality control, effective sanitary controls, Total Quality Management, and generally recognized best industry practices utilized through out the developed world.
